Resource Substitution

« Back to Programs

Our goal is to identify the source of substitutable resources that can be replaced to provide domestic ownership while partnering with as many different aid organizations to implement in the same area for better results. We will work with existing organizations to prove that answers are found collectively, not individually.  For the donors and other organizations, they will gain:

  1. Implementation of a new program at a lower cost
  2. Notoriety that they participated in such a large change
  3. Opportunity to work with other organizations, create partnerships, and collectively develop solutions.

If a family is already paying money for some resource, after we can identify the resource, we can acquire the resource (through monetary or in kind donations).  The family can then buy the resource from us and we will diversify their money.

Each program will be implemented by an organization that already specializes in a certain area.  The company will draw from Strategic Sustainable Partnership Program, Inc. (SSPPI) funds and their own seed capital providing that they agree to work in conjunction with the other organizations in the area.

Plan of action for resource redistribution: If we can get the resources donated/covered for one program, the remaining resources could then be allocated to different programs. Example:  School books for one child $250/year. If we can get the textbooks donated for one year, we can take the money used for textbooks, and start a school book loan program.  Instead of paying $250, pay one fifth of the costs ($50) to rent the textbooks, and then redistribute the money into other sustainable programs.
